Target’s goal is to win over communities of color and earn the support of grand opening and re-opening
of stores in black and brown neighborhoods. We accomplish this by adapting to serve the neighborhood, leaving a good first (and lasting) impression, collaborate with locals to create real change, and form deeper connections with more than just customer. Our goal is to ensure our message of love for the neighborhood, people, and history existed within it.
We kicked this off in the Fordham area of The Bronx and Inglewood, with other cities to come. My role was to assist in overall art direction and design, pre-production prep, work with a Bronx-based illustrator, and execute various print and OOH outputs.
